The event will be in the Goodwill Boardroom and staff members will be available to direct you if this is your first visit to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest.
You are invited to our quarterly Landlord & Property Manager Event hosted by Goodwill’s Veteran housing program, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF). Together we will learn more about how we can collaborate to better serve the homeless Veterans in our communities, and work even closer towards ending Veteran chronic homelessness. We will discuss the basics of the SSVF services, and answer your questions relating to the challenges and rewards of the Housing First approach in offering housing to homeless Veterans. This event will start with a presentation intended to offer basic answers to some of these questions. This is also a great opportunity to meet some of our dedicated staff members in person who provide support, resources, and case management to our Veterans.
Additionally, your input as a landlord or property manager is extremely valuable for helping the SSVF program, the City of Spokane, and Spokane County better decide how best to serve our Veterans. We want to be able to take your feedback and ideas and build a better partnership that also serves the landlords and property managers who are willing to offer housing options in such a difficult rental market. There will be a survey provided to the landlords who attend, the results of which will be shared and discussed with other members of the community as we continue to look for ways to improve our services.
